To transfer logs to a network server

  1. In the App Controller management console, click the Settings tab.
  2. In the navigation pane, under System Configuration, click Log Transfer.
  3. In the details pane, next to Log Transfer, click Edit.
  4. In Server, type the path to the server in your network on which you want to store the logs.
  5. In User name, enter the email address of the administrative account of the log server.
  6. In Password and Confirm password, type the password for the administrative account.
  7. In Transfer protocol, select the network protocol with which to transfer the logs.
  8. In Port, enter the port number for the server in your network.
  9. In Remote Directory, type the path to the directory of the server on which you want to store the logs.
  10. Select Counters Export to add the counters for the Dashboard into the log file. The counters are added to the log file one time each hour.
  11. In Archive Frequency (hours) and Transfer Frequency (hours), enter the number of hours between log transfers.
  12. Select Transfer archived log files automatically to transfer the files to the server automatically.
  13. In Log Type, select one, some, or all of the following options:
    • Audit
    • Counters
    • Info
    Note: If you select Audit, the Counters and Info logs are also sent to the network server.
  14. Click Save.
