Connector Resource Types

The connector supports the following types of Resources that can be provisioned from CPBM to CPSM. They are as follows:
  • Hosted Exchange:

    The connector supports provisioning the Hosted Exchange Customer Plan. This resource type has a constraint of 'one per account', which means only one instance of this resource type can be provisioned per account in CPBM.

  • Hosted Apps and Desktops:

    The connector supports provisioning the Hosted Apps and Desktops Customer Plan. This resource type has a constraint of 'one per account'.

  • SharePoint 2013:

    The connector supports provisioning the SharePoint 2013 Site (Customer Plan). This resource type has the constraints of 'one per account' or 'any number per account'.

    To provision a SharePoint Site, the tenant that is provisioning has to provide the following configuration:
    1. Instance Name: Unique instance name for the SharePoint site.
    2. Site Address: The address for the SharePoint site. Both http and https protocols are supported. For the http protocol, valid site addresses are sub-domains of domains registered to the CPSM customer. For the https protocol, valid address is the address tied to the certificate dedicated to the customer by the CPSM administrator or a sub-domain in case of a wild-carded domain certificate.
    3. Site Template: SharePoint templates to provision in the site.
    4. Language: Default language for the provisioned SharePoint site.
  • Lync Enterprise 2013:

    The connector supports provisioning the Lync Enterprise 2013 Customer Plan. This resource type has a constraint of 'one per account'.

    To provision Lync Enterprise 2013, the tenant has to provide the following information:
    1. SIP Domains: Provide SIP domain(s) for the provisioned Lync instance.
  • Lync Hosted 2013:

    The connector supports provisioning the Lync Hosted 2013 Customer Plan. This resource type has a constraint of 'one per account'.

    To provision Lync Hosted 2013, the tenant has to provide the following information:
    1. SIP Domains: Provide SIP domain(s) for the provisioned Lync instance.
  • DNS:

    The connector supports provisioning the DNS Service Plan. This resource type has a constraint of 'one per account'.
