Points to note

Keep the following points in mind while using Enhanced Networking:

  • Install AWS CLI.
  • This feature is available only on M4.16xLarge instance.
  • It is supported only in standalone VPX instances.
  • The instance must be shut down before enabling the feature.

Enable Enhanced Networking

Follow these steps to enable Enhanced Networking, by using AWS CLI:

  1. Shut down the Citrix ADC VPX instance running on AWS.

  2. To enable Enhanced Networking, type the following command in the AWS CLI.

    aws ec2 modify-instance-attribute --instance-id <instance_id> --ena-support

  3. To check if Enhanced Networking has been enabled, type the following command in the AWS CLI.
