Assign layers

To deliver App Layers to users, you can:

• Add App Layers to one or more Image Templates, then use the templates to publish Layered Images for use in provisioning servers.
  
• Elastically assign the App Layers to users, either through a direct user assignment, or via a machine assignment that makes the layers available to users who log into the machine.

You can make these assignments, as long as each user is assigned a single instance of the Layer, either as part of an image or as an elastic layer.
