You can access the App Layering management console by using the appliance IP address entered in a web browser, or in Citrix Cloud. Currently, access to the management console in Citrix Cloud is in Labs. When you access the management console in Citrix Cloud, there are some items of which to be aware.
The first time you log on to the management console, you must use the default user name and password: Administrator, password Unidesk1. After you log on to the management console, you change all administrator passwords for the appliance.
There are two ways that you can log on to the Layering management console:
The following are the procedures to log on to the Layering management console by using one of the listed methods.
To log on to the Layering management console by using the IP address
In your hypervisor, locate the virtual machine you created for the appliance and determine the IP address.
Type the IP address for the appliance as a URL in a compatible web browser:
http://<ip_address_of new_appliance>/
The logon page for the management console appears.
Log on to the management console as an administrator.
The first time you log on to the management console, the Set up Login Credentials wizard starts. Change the password for each administrative account on the appliance.
When you log on to Citrix Cloud, you use the App Layering Manage tab to access the management console.
To log on to the management console in Citrix Cloud
Log on to https://citrix.cloud.com.
Click Manage on the App Layering tile.
The Citrix App Layering page appears.
Click the Manage Labs tab.
On the Access the App Layering Management Console page, select the Resource Location, type the Appliance Address and then click Connect.
The logon page appears for the management console.
Log on to the management console as an administrator.
