What’s New

The enhancements and changes that are available in Build June 29, 2021.

Security advisory notifications

You can now receive the following notifications for ADM security advisory activities.

  1. Email, Slack, PagerDuty, and ServiceNow notifications for:

    • Difference between the latest and previous scans

    • New CVEs added in security advisory repository

  2. Cloud notification for scan result changes

To enable or disable notifications, from the ADM GUI, navigate to Infrastructure > Instance Advisory > Security Advisory and click the settings icon on the upper-right corner.

Performance indicator for an application - Non-A+ SSL rating

When you drill down an application that is not having the A+ SSL Rating, you can now view:

  • The impact on the app score
  • The Non-A+ SSL Rating details under Issues

For more information, see Non-A+ SSL rating

New default StyleBook to deploy SNMP configurations

A new default StyleBook is added to deploy SNMP configurations on ADC instances. In the ADM GUI, go to Applications > Configuration > StyleBooks. Search for the StyleBook by typing the name as snmp_configuration.

StyleBooks support international characters

You can now include international characters in StyleBooks.

Fixed Issues

The issues that are addressed in Build June 29, 2021.

Management and Monitoring

If you rename a scheduled configuration job and delete it from the ADM GUI, the ADM server does not remove this job.

ADM does not communicate with ADC BLX instances through SSH, and some ADC features such as Config Audit and Config Jobs might not run on BLX as expected.

When you deploy ADC configurations using StyleBook, ADC sessions do not refresh as needed. And, the configuration pack fails because of expired sessions. As a result, an error message appears: Session expired or killed. Please log in again.

In ADM, when you restore an ADC instance, it doesn’t reinstate the GeoDB files.

While registering an ADM agent, the default password must be changed. If the new password contains a special character such as open or close bracket, a syntax error occurs. As a result, you cannot log on to the ADM agent.

When you edit event details of an ADC high-availability pair using the ADM API, you receive duplicate values as a response.

When you enable analytics on a virtual server that has a special character in its name, it fails. With this fix, this issue is resolved.

In ADM, when you deploy a configuration job on a CPX instance, it fails with the SSH authentication error message.

When you restart an ADM server, NTP synchronization fails in ADM. This issue occurs because the NTP servers are defined with the domain name.

In ADM, the default StyleBooks take longer time to load than expected.

ADC instance upgrade through ADM might fail or take a longer than the usual duration.

When you restore ADM, it resets the password of the nsrecover user to the default password.

In an ADM high-availability setup, ADM configuration is lost after you upgrade ADM. This happens if the HA pair goes into a split-brain condition just before the upgrade.

Citrix ADM login fails when an external user enters slash ( / ) in the user name field. For example, the user name is specified in the Domain/user name format.

When you schedule an audit template by selecting the Send diff report only when diff is found option, ADM fails to send the diff report even though the diff exists between configurations.

When you change the time on an NTP server, the lmgrd process stops. As a result, the ADM GUI displays licensed virtual servers as unlicensed. With this fix, if the lmgrd process is stopped, ADM restarts the process after 10 minutes.

When you run the du and df commands to check ADM disk usage, sometimes, the df command output displays more disk space than the `du’ command.

After you upgrade an ADM HA pair, the upgrade image files are not removed from the secondary ADM.

Known Issues

The issues that exist in release June 29, 2021.

When you create a member on OpenStack Lbaas using ADM orchestration, the member creation fails on OpenStack intermittently. This issue happens when a proxy request from ADM to orchestration services times out after 30 seconds. With this fix, the request timeout for orchestration APIs has increased to 120 seconds.

If you are using OpenStack Queens for a LBaas workflow, the Load Balancing virtual server is not bound to a Content Switching virtual server. This issue impacts the traffic.

  1. Create a pool with Load Balancing virtual server.
  2. Create a listener with the pool ID.

If you already have a listener, update the listener with the pool ID.
