Virtual Assistant allows your microapp recipients to operate microapps using a natural language interface. To learn more about how to configure and use Virtual Assistant with your microapps, see Citrix Citrix Assistant.
Microapps also allows configuration of Microsoft Teams so you can send microapp information to your Team channels alongside the ability to integrate Citrix Assistant into your Team channels. Assign a role to dedicated user
The four following roles are necessary to read the needed tables. To assign these roles to the dedicated user:
- Select System Security > Users and Groups > Users.
- Select the Information icon next to the dedicated User ID. Select Open record. Under the Role tab, select Edit.
Find and select:
- Add them to the Roles List by selecting >, and select Save.
Tip: Rather than assigning existing roles to the dedicated user, you can create a dedicated role and grant read permission rights that are specific for that role. An instance uses access control list (ACL) rules, also called access control rules, to control what data users can access and how they can access it. For more information, see ServiceNow security documentation, or send a request to your ServiceNow administrator.
Microapps also allow you to connect your on-premises System of Record (SoR).
If you are creating an premises connection, connect first by using the Citrix Cloud Connector Appliance
To find this log in to Citrix Cloud Citrix Cloud.
- Select Edit or Add New from the Resource Lcation tab.
- Find your Microapps resouce from the list.
- Click ID.
- Copy the resource identifier id into the On-premises Resource Location in Microapps:
Your On-premises integration is configured.
Note the on-premises feature enable is only provided currently as a technical preview. On-premises feature is hidden by default, needs to be enabled in Citrix Cloud Operations Dashboard Name of the feature: connector appliance When you have enabled this feature, the change will be propagated in <1 hour (caching of enabled features on Citrix side). On-premises currently supports HTTP integration and Jira integrations only and only HTTPS protocol is supported for communication with the System of record (SoR).
