6100 Standard Edition Appliance

The Citrix SD-WAN 6100 Standard Edition (SE) is a 2U appliance. Each model has two 14-core processors for a total of 28 physical cores (with hyper-threading enabled), and 256 GB of memory. For latest performance and bandwidth capacity details, see the Citrix SD-WAN data sheet.

The Citrix SD-WAN 6100 SE appliance front panel has the following ports:

6100-SE appliance

  1. 10/100Base-T copper Ethernet Port (RJ45), also called lights out management (LOM) port = 1 port.

  2. RS232 serial console port= 1 port.

  3. Two 10/100/1000Base-T copper Ethernet management ports (RJ45). These ports are used to connect directly to the appliance for system administration functions.

  4. Eight 10G ports - 4 LC fiber ports with bypass, 4 SFP+ ports (no bypass) NIC Dual 10G/1G 2-Port SFP+ FTW (2 ports per NIC x 2 NIC Cards) = 4 Ports total (10/1, 10/2, 10/3, 10/4) NIC 4-port 10 GbE Module (4 SFP ports per NIC x1 NIC card) = 4 Ports (10/5, 10/6, 10/7, 10/8) NIC, 4-PORT Cu, i350 chipset, FTW Low Profile (4 Ports per NIC x1 NIC card) = 4 Ports (1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4).

  6. Number of SSDs (For SE appliance): Only 1 Boot drive (480 GB) in Slot 1; 2.5”. All SSDs 2.5” size.

  • Drive bay 1 - Insert 2.5” Boot drive SSD with 480 GB capacity.

  • Drive bay 2, 3, 4- Insert 2.5” SSD Plastic Drive Tray “Fillers- Dummy.”

Power Switch and back end Button functionalities:

  • Power switch, which turns off power to the appliance, as if you were to unplug the power supply. Press the switch for five seconds to turn off the power.

  • Disable PS alarm button is functional only when the appliance has two power supplies.

    Press this button to mute the power alarm from sounding:

    • When you have plugged the appliance into only one power outlet.
    • When one power supply is malfunctioning and you want to continue operating the appliance until it is repaired.
  • Dual redundant, hot-swappable power supplies (100–240 VAC standard 1000 W, 48 V DC optional).
