Virtual Channel Compatibility

The deviceTRUST Client Extension v2507 LTSR as part of Citrix Workspace app can be installed along-side the deviceTRUST Client Extension v23.1.

To support this side by side installation, it was necessary to rename the virtual channel. This results in the following compatibility scenarios:

When using the deviceTRUST Agent 23.1 or earlier, communication will occur with the deviceTRUST Client Extension 23.1 or earlier. The deviceTRUST Client Extension 2507 LTSR is not supported.
When using the deviceTRUST Agent 2507 LTSR or later, communication will be preferred with the deviceTRUST Client Extension 2507 LTSR or later. However when unavailable, communication will fall back to the deviceTRUST Client Extension 23.1 or earlier.
