Fixed issue

The following bug fix has been added:

  • deviceTRUST might fail to reestablish connections to remote devices that are disconnected when the deviceTRUST Agent restarts [DEVTRUST-216].

  • deviceTRUST may trigger an OS message to appear on Windows 11 24H2 or later, requesting permission to access the device location. Failure to grant this permission may result in no deviceTRUST properties being sent to the deviceTRUST Agent. This OS message may be seen after installing deviceTRUST or Citrix Workspace app, even when not using deviceTRUST.

Please note that deviceTRUST does not query the device location unless configured to do so by policy. In this scenario, the process “dtclientuser.exe” was performing in-memory caching of connected networks, but the library call was also capable of returning the network Wi-Fi BSSID, which in Windows 11 24H2 and later is protected by the Windows “Privacy & Security” Settings. The fix uses a more specific library call that cannot include the network Wi-fi BSSID. [DEVTRUST-359]
