Enhancements to the manual upload procedure for licensing telemetry data program

Starting with the License Server 11.17.2 build 45000, Administrators who opt to manually upload data to Citrix have to upload both License Server and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops data elements. For more information about the manual upload procedure, see Citrix Licensing Telemetry.

Configure a proxy server within Citrix Licensing Manager

Starting with the License Server version 11.17.2 build 43000, you can view and configure proxy server settings from the Citrix Licensing Manager UI. Go to Settings > Server Configuration > Configure a Proxy Server to view your proxy server settings. You can edit these settings to add, modify, or remove a proxy server as needed. For more information, see Configure a proxy server within Citrix Licensing Manager.

Alert for licenses with a future start date

An alert message appears when you upload a license file that contains licenses with a future start date. The message states that your licenses won’t be visible in the License Server inventory until the start date. This alert is displayed in the Citrix Licensing Manager > Install Licenses tab.

Addition of Product Information tab

In this release of Citrix Licensing Manager, a new section about product information is added. This section provides information about License Server updates such as:

• the latest version of License Server available for download
• the most recent updates
• the last successful attempt for updates
• updates to open-source software such as OpenSSL and Apache versions for a particular release

Option to send your License Server event data to Citrix Cloud

After you register your License Server with Citrix Cloud, you can choose to send your License Server’s event data to Citrix. This option is enabled by default and is available only after registration. For more information, see Collect License Server event data under the Usage and Statistics section.

Support for 4096 key size in self-signed certificates

From this release onwards, the key size supported in self-signed certificates is 4096 only. Uninstall the existing License Server and install the upgraded version (11.17.2.0 build 36000) which contains the 4096 key length self-signed certificate.
