What’s new in 5.7 (May 2019)

  • Single sign-on to on-premises connectors in Citrix Workspace: With this release, users using Citrix Workspace clients are no longer prompted for authentication when they try to access their network shares or SharePoint folders behind a StorageZone Controller.
  • Bug Fixes: This release contains fixes to address a redirect issue in file uploads to StorageZone and on-premises connectors.

What’s new in 5.6 (December 2018)

  • File Cleanup Service Improvements: This release includes changes to clear items in temp folder immediately after upload completes and to better process and delete the items present in Queue.
  • WOPI Fix: Includes changes to resolve issues seen when trying to edit office files subsequent times.
  • SharePoint Connector Fix: This release includes changes to display valid error messages when creating folders that already exist on SharePoint Connector.
  • Reliability Fixes: This release contains fixes for reliability.

What’s new in 5.4.2 (September 2018)

  • SharePoint Connector Fix: Moving files that are present on SharePoint connector might fail for specific scenarios. This release ensures that moving files that are present on SharePoint Connector works as expected.
  • Security fixes: This release contains fixes for security and reliability.

What’s new in 5.4.1 (August 2018)

  • Support for SSO to customer-managed StorageZone Connectors in Citrix Workspace: Support has been added to allow Single Sign-On (SSO) to customer-managed StorageZone Connectors for Workspace users. Workspace users will not be challenged with an authentication prompt while accessing their Network Shares or SharePoint folders through Citrix Files. These changes are server-side only. Client changes are pending.
  • Publish user activity events for customer-managed StorageZone Connectors: Support has been added to publish events to the ShareFile Event Pipeline for file upload, download, rename, and share operations on Network Share and SharePoint connectors. These events can be consumed downstream to generate the Recent Files list in ShareFile clients or to run risk detection analysis in Citrix Analytics Service (CAS).
  • SharePoint Connector Improvements: Support has been added to display Creator and Uploaded Time info for folders present on SharePoint Connector.
  • Security fixes: This release contains fixes for security and reliability.
  • Support has been added for *cloud/ *cloudburrito accounts for workspace environment.

  • TLS 1.0 Deprecation Support: The release adds changes to allow administrators to block TLS v1.0 for outbound communications from customer-managed StorageZones Controller servers.

What’s new in 5.3 (April 2018)

  • WOPI Fix: WOPI access tokens were potentially spoofed by theft of the public cryptographic key. This version ensured that the key is not shared between StorageZones Controllers.
  • Security fixes: This release contains fixes for security, performance, and reliability.

What’s new in 5.2 (December 2017)

  • Connector sharing with multi-tenant zones: We’ve added support for connector sharing with multi-tenant zones.
  • Secure ICAP support for data loss prevention (DLP): We’ve added support for Secure ICAP for DLP.
  • Customer-managed StorageZones on Google Cloud Platform: Support has been added for customers to create their StorageZones on Google Cloud Platform.
  • CLI integration to AV Scan Service (for multiple threads): This release includes support for using a command line AV Tool like Symantec Command Line AV Scan, in addition to providing scans with ICAP supported antivirus products.
  • System requirement: StorageZones Controller requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.2 or later.
  • Security fixes: This release contains fixes for security, performance, and reliability.

What’s new in 5.1 (September 2017)

  • Direct to File Support for On-Prem - Office mobile app users may now use the direct to file integration to use Microsoft apps to open and save files stored in ShareFile On-prem zones. (Note: A future version of ShareFile for iOS will support this functionality.)
  • Heartbeat Reliability Improvements - Improvements to the reliability of the heartbeat.aspx and resolve issues where a local config service becomes unreachable due to authentication issues, but the heartbeat incorrect indicates an Online status. Now, connectivity will be checked prior to reporting the status.
  • WOPI Server fixes - The WOPI server utilized for file previews will now utilize proxy settings configured on the StorageZones Controller.
  • Security Improvements - Miscellaneous improvements related to performance and reliability factors.

What’s new in 5.0.1 (July 2017)

  • DLP and ICAP AV Support for Multi-tenant Zones - Click here for additional information.
  • Improved ICAP URL Validation in the configuration UI.
  • Added support for *sharefilegov accounts.
  • Additional security fixes - To improve security, the admin will need to deny permissions to all other users to the particular folder containing the ShareFile storage repository and only grant access to the storage location to the user that is being configured.
