Federated Authentication Service
Citrix allows organizations to standardize on a non-Active Directory based Identity Providers (IdP), like Okta. However, Windows-based desktops and apps require an Active Directory account for authentication. The federated authentication service, integrated with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, utilizes virtual smartcards to provide single sign-on to Windows-based resources. This eliminates the need for users to authenticate multiple times when accessing Windows-based resources

Monitoring
Citrix DaaS provides a centralized console for cloud monitoring, troubleshooting, and performing support tasks for your Citrix DaaS environment. Citrix Monitor uses a troubleshooting dashboard that allows you to see failures in real time, search for users reporting an issue, and display the details of sessions or applications associated with that user.

Non-Domain Joined Desktops
Many organizations need to support non-domain joined solutions where the Citrix-accessed virtual machine is not managed through Active Directory. With Citrix DaaS and Citrix Gateway service support for non-domain joined Virtual Delivery Agents (VDA), this is achievable.

Policies
Citrix connections can sometimes respond differently than expected because of variations in the Citrix policies configured for your end user sessions. Using the Citrix Policy Modeling capability, administrators can simulate a user session to ensure that the correct Citrix policies are applied to each session.

Citrix VDA Upgrade Service
The time and effort to upgrade the Citrix Virtual Delivery Agent in large catalogs of persistent virtual machines can prove challenging. The Citrix VDA Upgrade service is a cloud-based service simplifies the VDA upgrade process for admins by automating upgrades to the latest version of the VDA (either CR or LTSR), depending on your machine catalog type.

Security
A key security risk for VDI and DaaS security is the threat of data loss from screen capturing and data transfer to and from other endpoints using cut/copy/paste controls. With Citrix Analytics for Security, custom risk indicator workflows can be created to set up alerts and actions to detect unauthorized use of clipboard operations.
