To create an iOS Wi-Fi profile
- In the Device
Manager web console, on the
Policies tab, under
- In the
Configuration menu, click
- In the
Configuration creation dialog box, enter an Identifier, which is a
unique string that is used to identify the profile in the console. Must be
unique and not used for any other iOS policy. You can also enter a Display
Name, which is how the policy name will be displayed to the device user. All
other fields here settings here are optional, such as adding a description or
Wi-Fi tab and then choose the following options:
- Network Type.
- Service Set Identifier
- Hidden Network.
Enable this option if the target network is not open or broadcasting.
- AutoJoin. Automatically join the configured wireless
network. Available in iOS 5.0 and later.
- Security Type.
Select a security type and then enter the authentication (password).
