CloudPortal Business Manager provides a configuration to enable "Cookie
Law Warning". The name of configuration is "cookies.warning.enabled". It takes
values as "true" or "false" and the default value is "false".
This configuration enables the customer to comply with the "Cookie
Law". When this configuration is enabled, a warning popup box is displayed on
successful login of every user when the user has not already accepted the
warning. If user chooses to
- Reject the warning: User is
logged out of CloudPortal Business Manager
- Accept the warning: Popup
box is closed and user is able to access CloudPortal Business Manager user
interface
When the configuration is enabled, this warning is displayed even for
existing users except "root" user. This warning is not displayed on anonymous
pages, such as login, signup, and anonymous browse catalog.
Note: The warning is displayed only available after user is successfully
authenticated.
Enabling Cookie Law Warning
To enable the cookie law warning, perform the following steps.
- Log in to CloudPortal
Business Manager UI as Root user
- Click the drop-down menu
icon in the top right corner next to ROOT USER
- Click
Administration > Configuration > Portal
- Click
Settings > Configure
- Click
Edit
- Set the following
