Requirements for installing License Server VPX

Citrix Hypervisor (formerly XenServer) must provide adequate virtual computing resources to the License Server VPX as listed in this table.

Memory

2 GB. Sufficient for up to 500 Citrix servers and approximately 50,000 licenses. Monitor available memory during operation to determine if you require more memory. For larger environments, we recommend allocating more memory.

Citrix Hypervisor or XenServer version

  • Citrix Hypervisor 8.2
  • XenServer 7.0

Minimum storage requirement

10 GB on the default Storage Repository inside the XenServer pool.

Virtual CPU (vCPU)

1 vCPU. For larger environments or those using user/device licensing, consider adding a second vCPU.

Browsers

We tested the following browsers. Other browsers might work, but all functionality might not be available.

  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Safari
