Client Hardware Compatibility
UniconOS 2607 has been successfully tested on the following client hardware:
Please note that the devices are tested and released based on UEFI support only. Devices with dual boot mode must be configured to UEFI support. For more information about hardware features, see Hardware limitations in the Release Information.
UniconOS has been validated on a variety of hardware configurations. However, users should note that entry-level or legacy hardware may not support all features or may have degraded performance.
Limitations may result from insufficient CPU capacity, limited memory, slower I/O subsystems, or lack of hardware acceleration. If demanding multimedia usage scenarios impair the system performance of older hardware models with minimal system equipment, it may make sense to upgrade the RAM.
Models that have been successfully tested and approved exclusively by the hardware manufacturer are listed separately in the Manufacturer-Certified Devices section. These devices have not been tested by Citrix.
Note:
Devices can be added to the HCL through either the Manufacturer-Certified or Citrix-Certified certification process. The certification path depends on the desired level of validation, testing, and support.
Hardware vendors interested in adding a device to the HCL should start with the Manufacturer-Certified process and contact Citrix to obtain the current test plan and required materials.
Devices that successfully complete the Manufacturer-Certified process are listed in the HCL as Manufacturer-Certified Devices. For enhanced validation and ongoing compatibility testing, Manufacturer-Certified devices may subsequently undergo the Citrix-Certified process.
Customers interested in a specific device that is not yet listed in the HCL should contact their Citrix representative (ATS) or hardware vendor to discuss certification options.
