Under certain conditions it might be useful to merge columns.

Example

You have created a list of all ICA® and RDP applications with their names, their assigned organization units and their server addresses.

resulting in the following report:

As only one of the fields RPP Server and ICA Server contain a value, the two fields can be merged.

Merging fields

Define the same column title for both fields.

In the example, both titles can be changed to Server.

Both fields are assigned to one column. The value of the first column merged that is not empty is displayed:
