Deploy an evaluation environment

The 1-Click VM runs the whole Citrix SecurSpaces™ platform on a single virtual machine (VM). Use it for a proof of concept (POC) or a demonstration. Preparing the VM is the part that differs between platforms; the installation, validation and management steps are the same.
Note:
The 1-Click VM is not for production use and cannot be upgraded or migrated to a production installation. For production, see Deploy to a cluster.

The deployment sequence

  1. Prepare the VM. Use the page for your platform in the table below. In the cloud, the installer creates the VM for you.
  2. Install SecurSpaces. See Deploy in the cloud or Install on a local VM.
  3. Validate the deployment. See Validate the deployment.
  4. Manage the environment. See Manage the evaluation environment.

Before you start

  • Check the host requirements in System requirements.
  • Choose a machine capacity. See Sizing.
  • Have an administrator email address ready.
