Failover of VMware disks associated with snapshots

The VMwareDisks agent now supports the failover of service groups that contain disks that are associated with NBU or user-initiated snapshots. The agent is updated to detect, consolidate, and remove such snapshots, and thereby perform the attach and detach operations on the associated disks.

This support is available on the following software versions:

All the Linux distributions that are supported with this release
All the vCenter and ESXi versions that are supported with this release
NetBackup 8.2 and 8.3

This support is not yet available for disks in NetBackup configurations that involve multiple master servers.
