Feature management
The Citrix Secure Access client provides access to preview features and allows dynamic management of features in production through Citrix-managed feature flags. To request a preview feature, customers must contact Citrix Support. The Citrix team will then enable and manage the feature from the back end for the gateway URLs of customers.
Feature management for the Citrix Secure Access client for Windows
To ensure optimal performance of preview features (features under feature flag) in the Citrix Secure Access client for Windows, you must enable traffic to features.netscalergateway.net and upgrade the clients to version 24.8.1.19 or later.
If an immediate upgrade isn’t possible, use the registry settings for the preview features until end users update their client versions. Refer to NetScaler Gateway Windows VPN client registry keys for details on the registries.
Note:
No configuration is needed to enable traffic for feature management unless a firewall or proxy is blocking outbound traffic. In such cases, you must allow traffic to specific URLs or IP addresses according to your policy requirements.
