Citrix Workspace app 2607 LTSR fixed issues

Session/Connection

  • Session disconnects due to a crash in ntdll.dll when using Citrix Workspace app 2511 on Windows 11 25H2, caused by a change in Windows API behavior. [HDX-98990]
  • With VDA 2203 LTSR and EDT Lossy enabled, multiple session reconnections triggered by Session Reliability with intermittent gray screen. [HDX-98312]
  • When launching a virtual desktop using a downloaded ICA file, the session starts but the DesktopViewer does not appear. [HDX-97520]
  • With VDA 2507 LTSR or older and EDT Loss Tolerant Mode for Audio enabled, no audio in sessions. [HDX-99810]
  • Copying contents from the client device into the HDX session can cause the app to crash or the session to disconnect. [HDX-99696]
  • After upgrading to Citrix Workspace app 2603, a subset of session launches might fail with error “Protocol Driver error (Error code: 2064.1030)” where Session Reliability is disabled. [CVADHELP-32774]
  • Citrix Workspace app might fail to launch a session in environments where circular certificates are present in the certificate chain. [CTX696638]

Logon/Authentication

  • Store addition using installation command-line parameter fails when the target store is not the default and StoreFront has multiple stores configured. [CVADHELP-31496]

Installing, Uninstalling, Upgrading

  • Administrators might not be able to import Citrix Workspace app template files into Intune. [RFWIN-39431]
  • If desktop lock feature is enabled in version 2503.2 through command line, desktop lock might not work for standard users after upgrade. [RFWIN-39160]
  • When migrating Citrix Workspace app from x86 to x64, canceling the installation after prerequisites are installed might incorrectly update the package type to x64. [RFWIN-41361]

User Experience

  • StartMenu shortcuts created in subfolders after changing the StartMenu shortcuts folder might not reflect in the StartMenu GUI. [CVADHELP-28556]
  • Citrix favorited apps were displayed in “Apps and Features” even when DontCreateAddRemoveEntry was set to true. [RFWIN-40105]
  • When Citrix Workspace app client language is set to German, the network interruption reconnect banner might appear truncated, hiding the reconnect countdown timer and End Session option. [HDX-104617]
  • The Citrix Workspace app toolbar might disappear during a session to a virtual desktop.

Printing

  • Users might see a “Waiting for printer connections…” dialog box when WSD printers mapped on the endpoint are offline or unavailable. [CVADHELP-30858]
  • Network printers might fail to map in a virtual session when certain standard network service name entries are missing from the client device’s configuration. [CVADHELP-31451]

Client Device Issues

  • When using a Bluetooth Apple keyboard with anti-keylogging enabled, random letters appeared in Citrix Workspace app. [CVADHELP-25472]

System Exceptions

  • Increased CPU usage of receiver.exe while running Citrix Workspace app on some installs on Windows Server 2022. [RFWIN-41567]

Security Issues

  • Citrix Workspace app might ship OpenSSL libraries that are affected by publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, CVE-2025-11187, CVE-2025-15467, CVE-2026-45447. [CVADHELP-32695], [CVADHELP-33403]
  • After installing the May Windows security update, KB5089549 on endpoints running Citrix App Protection, the client machine might become unresponsive. [CVADHELP-33421]

Content Redirection

  • Certain browser keyboard shortcuts could launch a non-sandboxed browser window during a BCR session. The affected shortcuts are now blocked. [CVADHELP-29954]
  • The HDX WebRTC Media Engine (HdxRtcEngine.exe) might exit unexpectedly on endpoints running non-English operating systems when system hardware descriptions contain Unicode characters. [CVADHELP-30545]
  • When you redirect URLs from VDA to client using bidirectional content redirection, the local browser window might open behind the Desktop Viewer window in full-screen mode. [CVADHELP-30546]
  • When you redirect URLs from client to VDA using bidirectional content redirection, the desktop session launches but the browser fails to open the redirected URL. [HDX-94125]

App Protection

  • When App Protection is enabled, the “Give/Take Control” option in HDX Optimized Teams was blocked. [HDX-83043]
  • Unable to exclude DTEX processes using the App Protection Process Exclusion list. [CVADHELP-29795]
  • On some machines, virtual app and desktop sessions fail to launch when App Protection Anti-DLL is enabled. [CVADHELP-31199]

Analytics/Monitoring

  • Wi-Fi statistics might not appear in Citrix Analytics for Security (CAS) session details because Citrix Workspace app reports Wi-Fi signal strength values outside the expected range. [CVADHELP-32770]
