uberAgent

uberAgent 7.4.2

What’s New

Azure Monitor Sunsetting

uberAgent supported Azure Monitor as backend via its HTTP Data Collector API. This API has been deprecated by Microsoft. It will no longer function after September 14, 2026. Unfortunately, the API’s successor, the Logs Ingestion API, does not meet uberAgent’s technical requirements. There is no longer a viable way for uberAgent to send data to Azure Monitor. For this reason, Azure Monitor is no longer a supported backend for uberAgent. For details and alternatives please see Microsoft Azure Monitor (legacy).

Licensing on macOS and Windows

uberAgent now supports Citrix CVAD licensing on Windows and macOS. This means that uberAgent automatically detects when it’s executed on a Citrix Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA), and therefore get’s licensed automatically. When such a license is available, it takes precedence over the uberAgent license file. Note: when installed on a Citrix Delivery Controller (DDC), uberAgent requires a license. [B1135, B1138]

Updated licensing status dashboard

The Splunk dashboard Licensing status was updated to provide a better overview of active licenses, where they are used and when they expire. [B1086]
