Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging on. It gives you a quick, at-a-glance overview of your device infrastructure, without having to open any device list.
The Dashboard shows five panels:
-
Device overview: The total number of devices, broken down into Online, Software update in progress, and Offline.
-
Device status: A more detailed breakdown, grouped into three areas:
- Connectivity: how many devices are online, eLux® 7 compatible, currently updating, or offline.
- Activity: how many devices have not been seen in a month or in a year.
- Compliance and connection type: how many devices have compliant images, are connected internally (through the corporate network), or connected externally (for example through VPN or Scout Cloud Gateway).
-
Device distribution: The total number of devices, broken down into Internal, External, and Reserved (device profiles created in advance, before the device has ever connected).
-
License information: The Citrix License Server this Scout Server uses, whether it is currently reachable, and your entitlement status with its activation and expiry dates. Click
to change the license server name. For details, see Showing license information. -
Image compliance: The total number of devices, broken down into Compliant, No image defined, and Non-compliant, plus a chart showing how many devices are running each firmware image.
A firmware image is called compliant if it is an image that has been globally predefined in the Advanced Device Configuration. For further information, see Predefined IDFs and containers in the Scout guide.
