Deprecation Notice: Removal of Scout Console, Legacy ELIAS, and Web-based ELIAS 18 in UniconOS Management 2611
The deprecation of the Scout Console was first announced in December 2025. With UniconOS Management 2611 LTSR, the Scout Console will be permanently removed from the standard UniconOS Management product. As a result, the associated legacy components Legacy ELIAS and Web-based ELIAS 18 will also no longer be available. These components will not be installed by default, and no optional installation path will be provided. UniconOS Management 2609 serves as the final version to plan and prepare for your migration.
Customers are strongly encouraged to transition to Scout Board, which is the strategic management interface moving forward. Starting with UniconOS Management 2611 LTSR, the functionality currently provided by Legacy ELIAS or Web-based ELIAS 18 will be integrated into Scout Board.
This transition enables us to focus on the future direction of UniconOS Management and continue extending Scout Board with new capabilities and innovations without being constrained by legacy technologies.
Customers using Scout Console, Legacy ELIAS, or Web-based ELIAS 18 should plan their migration to Scout Board in conjunction with their upgrade to UniconOS Management 2611 LTSR.
We understand that some environments may have specific constraints. If you are affected, please contact your Citrix representative before the UniconOS Management 2611 LTSR release. We are happy to review individual requirements and discuss potential individual solutions on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval and a committed migration plan.
