XenApp and XenDesktop

XenApp and XenDesktop 7.15 LTSR

The Long Term Service Release (LTSR) program for XenApp and XenDesktop provides stability and long-term support for XenApp/XenDesktop releases.

XenApp and XenDesktop LTSR is currently available for 7.15. Cumulative Update 9 (CU9) is the most recent update to the 7.15 LTSR. If you are new to the LTSR program and did not deploy the 7.15 LTSR release, there is no need for you to install it now. Instead, Citrix recommends that you begin right with 7.15 LTSR CU9.

In addition, Citrix also recommends specific versions of Citrix Workspace app and other components. While not required for LTSR compliance, upgrading to the recommended versions of those components ensures further ease of maintenance and the availability of the latest fixes in your deployment.

For an overview of the 7.15 LTSR features that have been added since the 7.6 LTSR release, see the XenApp and XenDesktop Feature Summary Comparison table.
