What's new

Secure Boot support for the new Windows UEFI CA 2023 certificate

PVS target devices can now boot with Secure Boot enabled using images signed with Microsoft's new Windows UEFI CA 2023 certificate, in addition to the existing certificate. This ensures continued Secure Boot compatibility as Microsoft transitions to the newer signing authority.

Target device firmware type (BIOS or UEFI) now detected and recorded

PVS now detects whether each target device booted using BIOS or UEFI firmware and records this on the device record. Farm metrics telemetry also reports counts of devices by firmware type.
