About the release
This uberAgent release includes new improvements and bug fixes.
For installation and upgrade instructions:

If you are installing uberAgent on a CVAD machine, follow the sequence in Installation via Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.

If you are installing uberAgent on a Windows machine, follow the instructions outlined in Standalone Installation.

If you are installing uberAgent on a macOS machine, follow the procedure as stated in Installing the macOS Endpoint Agent.

Please review the upgrade instructions to determine if they are applicable to your deployment.
Please note that uberAgent 8.1 is also available with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2607 LTSR.

What's New
uberAgent for IGEL OS 12
uberAgent for Linux is now available as an IGEL OS app for deployment via the IGEL Universal Management Suite (UMS). Import the app into the UMS from the IGEL App Portal, or import the
.ipkg package from the uberAgent download package manually, for example in air-gapped environments.
Deployment via the IGEL UMS requires IGEL OS 12.8.0 or later. Please see the documentation for further instructions.
Azure Monitor Sunsetting
uberAgent supported Azure Monitor as backend via its HTTP Data Collector API. This API has been deprecated by Microsoft. It will no longer function after September 14, 2026. Unfortunately, the API’s successor, the Logs Ingestion API, does not meet uberAgent's technical requirements. There is no longer a viable way for uberAgent to send data to Azure Monitor. For this reason, Azure Monitor is no longer a supported backend for uberAgent. For details and alternatives please see Microsoft Azure Monitor (legacy).
