Defining a virtual desktop

  1. Add a new application see Adding applications and select the application type Virtual Desktop.
  2. Edit the following fields:
    Option Description
    Name Name for the application
    VD Broker Select a virtual desktop application from the list.
    Server Enter the server IP address (or name)
    Logon, Pass-through logon See Adding applications
    Protocol, (VMware Horizon only) Choose between the following values: RDP, PCoIP, VMware Blast
  3. To configure further settings for XenDesktop® or VMware Horizon, click Advanced. For further information, depending on the broker selected, see
  4. Confirm with Apply and OK.
