InfoScale support for UEFI Secure Boot (Linux only)

Veritas InfoScale now supports deployment on Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) firmware-based systems that have the Secure Boot feature enabled. Kernel modules included in the InfoScale software RPMs are digitally signed using cryptographic public-private keys. Digital signatures help validate the authenticity and integrity of the kernel modules in a pre-boot environment before they are loaded by the operating system kernel. This validation process supports a secure deployment mechanism by ensuring that only authenticated InfoScale kernel modules can run on the systems.

Refer to the Preparing for deployment in a Secure Boot environment section in the Veritas InfoScale Installation Guide for more information.
