Citrix Secure Access™

Single sign-on between Citrix Secure Access and Citrix Workspace app for Android

Starting from Citrix Secure Access for Android version 26.04.1, single sign-on (SSO) is supported with Citrix Workspace app (CWA). If a user is already signed in to the Citrix Workspace app, they do not need to enter credentials again when signing in to the same URL in Citrix Secure Access for Android, and vice versa.

Also, if a user signs out of the Citrix Secure Access app, the user is also logged out of the Citrix Workspace app, and vice versa. This behavior enables seamless access to TCP/UDP applications and provides a unified Secure Private Access experience. This signout synchronization is enabled by default. To disable it, contact Citrix Support.

Customers who use an MDM provider to configure a VPN profile in the Citrix Secure Access app for Android can also disable this feature by adding the custom parameter, DisableLogoutFromStoreOnExplicitDisconnect to the managed app configuration. For details about this parameter, see Custom Parameters for Intune configuration.

Previously, users of Secure Private Access service had to authenticate twice, once in the Android Citrix Workspace app to access SaaS and published apps, and again in the Android Citrix Secure Access app to access TCP/UDP apps.
