Fixed issues in 2203 LTSR CU2

Citrix Provisioning 2203 LTSR CU2 contains all fixes included in the 2203 LTSR initial release, CU1, plus the following, new fixes:

Citrix Provisioning console issues

  • After upgrading Provisioning Services to version 2203, when you create machines through the XenDesktop Setup wizard and import AD accounts, the catalogs might not contain virtual machines. [CVADHELP-20498]

  • The versioning interface might be accessible when Asynchronous I/O is selected and vDisk is in private mode instead of standard mode. [CVADHELP-20500]

Citrix Provisioning server issues

  • Attempts to update Boot Device Manager (BDM) on the ESX server might fail. [CVADHELP-19955]

  • With the Provisioning Services 2203 release, the manual rebalance logic is changed to load-based rebalance, wherein only the over-loaded targets connected to the server are forced to reconnect. [CVADHELP-20541]

  • With this enhancement, a new Reconnect option is added to the selected target devices, which forces the targets to reconnect. The Reconnect option is available to all possible target selections from the Provisioning Services console (server’s connected devices, usage of a vDisk or vDisk version, or collection view) and from the MCLI or PowerShell command line.   • An incorrect event is logged indicating that the standalone PVS licenses (PVS_STD and PVSD_STD) are in grace time when using Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops licenses. The issue occurs after upgrading Provisioning Servers to version 2203 LTSR or 2203 LTSR CU1. [CVADHELP-21062]

Citrix Provisioning target device issues

  • The value set in the registry to disable NTFS Last Access Time Stamp updates by the client Target Device Optimizer might be incorrect for different versions of Windows. [CVADHELP-19183]

  • The inline upgrade of the PVS target installer from version 1912 LTSR to version 2203 LTSR on Windows Hyper-V fails. [CVADHELP-20356]

  • Citrix Provisioning does not support accelerated network in an Azure target device. [CVADHELP-21207]

  • Citrix Provisioning does not support accelerated network in an Azure target device. [PVS-8871]
