Support for VMware vSAN 8.0

Citrix Provisioning supports VMware vSAN 8.0. You can upgrade your existing vSAN environment to vSAN 8.0 in Citrix Provisioning deployment.

Support for installing Citrix Provisioning servers on Windows Server Core

With this feature, you can now install Citrix Provisioning servers on the system running Windows Server Core. This feature is supported on Citrix Provisioning 2203 LTSR CU5 and later CUs and 2402 LTSR and later versions. The Server Core option is a minimal installation as opposed to the installation of Server with Desktop Experience. The Windows Server core reduces the potential attack on critical infrastructure. This feature is The benefits of using this feature are: - Enhanced security for the Citrix Provisioning Servers. - Reduced cost because you can use a smaller VM. The current limitations of this feature are: - You cannot create target VMs on a Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops‑hosted hypervisor using HDD BDM boot. - You cannot perform a BDM update using the Citrix Provisioning Console.

Citrix Provisioning 2203 LTSR Cumulative Update 5 (CU5) is the latest release of the Citrix Provisioning 2203 LTSR. CU5 has one fix compared to the 2203 LTSR CU4 release of Citrix Provisioning.
