Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Integration
Overview
Starting with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2503, uberAgent is included in the CVAD installer, enabling seamless installation and updates via the CVAD installer. Additionally, uberAgent can be configured through Citrix Policies when installed using the CVAD installer. Furthermore, uberAgent integrates with Citrix Director, enhancing Director’s monitoring capabilities with minimal effort.
To fully leverage uberAgent’s capabilities, including advanced analytics and extended monitoring, a supported backend is required. Supported backends include Splunk, Elasticsearch & Kibana, Apache Kafka, Microsoft Azure Monitor, and Microsoft ADX. For more information, please refer to the Backend Documentation.
For detailed instructions on installing uberAgent using the CVAD installer, refer to Installing uberAgent.
Configuration via Citrix Policies
Starting with uberAgent 7.4, configuration can be managed directly through Citrix Studio or Citrix Web Studio when uberAgent is installed as part of the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops installation. This includes enabling or disabling data collection and specifying paths for the configuration archive and license. For detailed instructions, see Configuration via Citrix Policies.
