Backup or migrate your configuration

Last published : Oct 15, 2026
This feature helps you take a backup of your configurations. Backup along with the restore feature facilitates the migration of site information from on-premises to the cloud or from one cloud site to another with ease. It also facilitates immediate rebounding of a site in times of emergencies.
You can use the following methods to take backups:
  1. Backup + Restore
    1. Integrated with Web Studio.
  2. Automated Configuration Tool (ACT)
    1. Powershell-based tool. Install the tool to use it. See Download Automated Configuration.
The backups can be used for:
  1. Restoration
  2. Migration
Citrix® recommends the following tools for the described scenarios.
