Monitoring Intelligent Build to Lossless

Intelligent Build to lossless can be monitored with our Graphics Status Indicator from within Citrix session. Currently the Graphics Status Indicator is not enabled by default.

To enable the Graphics Status Indicator:

  1. Navigate to the graphics policy settings in Citrix Studio.
  2. Locate the ‘Graphics Status Indicator’’ policy.
  3. Set the policy to ‘Enabled’.
  4. Apply and propagate the policy changes to your delivery groups.

The Graphics Status Indicator will be available in the tasktray in the remote session.

When Intelligent Build to lossless is available , The graphics status Indicator will show “Selective Codec, Intelligent Build To Lossless” in the first row.~~~~

Note:

When the ‘use a video codec for compression’ is left at default or explicitly set to ‘use when preferred’ AND a GPU is available on the GPU, Intelligent Build to Lossless will be available automatically.

When Intelligent Build to lossless is available, but not yet active, the session will use the regular selective mode and the Graphics Status Indicator will indicate the Image Quality as ‘Medium’ (or Low, High as set by the visual quality policy).
