Auto Client Reconnect (ACR)

ACRv2 Overview

ACRv2 is an enhancement of ACR. ACRv2 allows users to configure ACR timeout, reconnect UI parency level and to specify whether ACR authentication is required. The ACRv2 capabilities are negotiated with the client during ICA handshake.

ACRv2 policy settings

  1. Auto client reconnect timeout Auto client reconnect timeout allows users to configure the time for which the Receiver will attempt the reconnection through ACR. The default ACR timeout is 120 seconds. The maximum timeout is 300 seconds. Value 0 means disable ACR. If session reliability is also configured with a certain timeout, then the ACR will trigger after the session reliability timeout is over.

  2. Auto client reconnect authentication If this setting is configured, a dialog box is displayed to users requesting credentials when Receiver attempts to reconnect automatically. By default ACR authentication is not required (SSO must be enabled for this case).

  3. Reconnect UI transparency level This setting controls transparency level applied to session window during ACR or SR reconnection period. By default the transparency is set to 80%.
