Citrix Provisioning 1912 LTSR CU6 contains all fixes included in the 1912 LTSR initial release, CU1, CU2, CU3, CU4, CU5, plus the following, new fixes:

Citrix Provisioning console issues

  • Adding machines to an existing device collection using the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Setup wizard in Provisioning Services and adding machines to existing machine catalogs to the Delivery Controller might fail when the device collection has more than 250 devices. [CVADHELP-19611]

  • When using the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Setup wizard in Citrix Cloud using Citrix Provisioning API, target devices fail to create with an error message Error: Index was out of range when we try to add PVS VDA to the Catalog. [CVADHELP-19659]

  • The versioning interface might be accessible when Asynchronous I/O is selected and vDisk is in private mode instead of standard mode. [CVADHELP-20500]

Citrix Provisioning server issues

  • The Citrix Provisioning Console fails to display connected devices with an error message The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (594244) has been exceeded.[CVADHELP-18606]

  • When you use SQL Server Availability Group with nodes in different subnets, Citrix Provisioning Server might fail to establish a connection with the database after you restart the server or restart Stream Service. [CVADHELP-19294]

  • When you use Berkley International Naming Domain (BIND) 9.11.4 or later as the DNS server, attempts to start a Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) target device might fail. [CVADHELP-19341]

  • Adding machines to an existing device collection using the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Setup wizard in Provisioning Services and adding machines to existing machine catalogs to the Delivery Controller might fail when the device collection has more than 250 devices. [CVADHELP-19611]

  • Citrix Provisioning server might not recognize available valid licenses for target devices if any of the licenses in the license server is expired or corrupt. [CVADHELP-19711]

  • After upgrading Citrix Provisioning from version 1912 LTSR CU5 to version 2109 or higher, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Setup Wizard might fail to create devices. [CVADHELP-19788]

  • Attempts to update Boot Device Manager (BDM) on the ESX server might fail. [CVADHELP-19955]

Citrix Provisioning target device issues

  • Insufficient resources might cause transient errors resulting in Citrix Provisioning target devices becoming unresponsive. [CVADHELP-18197, CVADHELP-18236]

  • Citrix Provisioning target devices version 2106 might become unresponsive four days (96 hours and 5 minutes) after the device license becomes invalid. This error message appears:

    No device license is currently available for this computer. A system shutdown will be initiated in 96 hours. To avoid loss of data, save your work now and close all applications.

    This issue might be caused due to the problem covered by Fix CVADHELP-19711.
