Fixed issues in 2402 LTSR CU4

Last published : Oct 15, 2026
The following issues have been fixed since Linux Virtual Delivery Agent 2402 LTSR CU3:
  • When you use Linux VDA 2402 LTSR CU3 and Federated Authentication Service (FAS), citrix-ctxlogin might not decode the user certificate. As a result, FAS sign-in fails and the session ends.
  • After you upgrade Linux VDA to 2402 LTSR CU3, webcam functionality can cause the v4l2loopback module to crash or the ctxssmm process to behave unexpectedly.
  • In environments with multiple stores that use different authentication methods, the user interface can stop responding if users are redirected to the smart card store and then cancel authentication.
  • If you use NVIDIA drivers later than version 555 with Linux VDA 2402 LTSR CU2, a missing library can cause compatibility issues.
  • After you upgrade Linux VDA to 2402 LTSR CU2 and enable Rootless Xorg, desktop sessions can show a gray screen. Session reconnection can also result in a gray screen.
  • On Ubuntu 22.04 VDIs, binaries can link to Citrix libraries in /opt/Citrix/VDA/lib64 instead of the system libraries. This issue affects software compilation.
  • In Linux VDA 2402 LTSR CU2, some features, such as app protection and watermarking, might not work as expected because of policy processing issues.
  • On dedicated Ubuntu 22.04 Linux hosts, the root file system can fill during startup because /var/log/xdl/tmp_xdping_log grows without bounds. As a result, the host can become unbootable.
  • When you minimize an application in a Linux VDA session, the application icon can appear corrupted or as a black square.
  • On virtual desktops that run Linux VDA 2402 LTSR CU2 on Red Hat 8.8, the ctxloginui process can crash and prevent users from connecting.
  • When you minimize an application in a Linux VDA session, the application icon can appear corrupted or as a black square in some cases.
