Citrix Workspace app for HTML5

This release includes Citrix Workspace app for HTML5 2211.

Browser Extension (tech preview)

Citrix Workspace browser extension can be used for seamless client detection and session launch from the web client. This functionality is disabled by default. Administrators can enable this feature using the following PowerShell script on a StoreFront server:

`Add-STFFeatureState -Name "Citrix.StoreFront.EnableBrowserExtension " -IsEnabled $True`

Fixed issues

StoreFront 2203 LTSR CU2 contains all fixes included in CU1, plus the following, new fixes:

  • SAML authentication does not work with the certificates issued by CA Server. [CVADHELP-18949]

  • After upgrading the StoreFront server, the configured FeatureState values might not be retained. [CVADHELP-21048]

    Note:

    This fix must be applied on both the base and upgrade versions of the StoreFront server.

  • With this fix, you can use HTML5 early access and backup releases with the default configuration. No additional configuration is required on the StoreFront servers. [CVADHELP-20769]

  • When you modify Citrix Gateway details in the Citrix StoreFront Management console, two null parameters, clusternodes and silentauthenticationurls, might be added to the Roaming\web.config file on the StoreFront server. [CVADHELP-20780]

  • After upgrading StoreFront from earlier versions, the setting, Manage Receiver for Web sites > Deploy Citrix Receiver/Workspace App > Allow users to download HDX engine > Source of Receivers/Workspace app might default to the value, Citrix website. [CVADHELP-21037]
