Device names
The devices' host names can either be taken from the devices without modification or set from the . In addition, name templates are available that use, for example, the MAC address or the IP address of the devices. The settings for this can be found under Advanced options > Devices. For further information, see Devices.
Device names are subject to the following format rules:

Allowed characters are letters (a-z, A-Z) and digits (0-9).

Additionally, hyphens (-) are allowed within the string, but not at the beginning and end of a device name.

A device name must be at least one character long (letter or digit).
