HDX Graphics Superresolution Upscaling (Preview)

HDX Graphics Superresolution upscaling Preview for Intel GPUs is a new joint collaboration between Citrix and Intel.

Enhance session performance and significantly reduce bandwidth consumption with Citrix HDX Graphics Superresolution Upscaling, a new preview feature in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2507.

Citrix HDX is the first remoting protocol to add support for Superresolution upscaling. This industry-first technology adaptation seamlessly applies additional compression on video resolution on the Virtual Desktop Agent (VDA) and utilises a compatible endpoint Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to upscale them back to their original resolution, without any noticeable degradation of quality or adverse effects on the endpoint’s performance.
