Deprecations and removals

This article gives you advanced notice of Citrix DaaS (formerly Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service) features that are being phased out, so that you can make timely business decisions. Citrix monitors customer use and feedback to determine when features are withdrawn. Announcements can change in subsequent releases and might not include every deprecated feature or functionality. Deprecations and removals

The following list shows the Citrix DaaS™ features that are deprecated or removed.

Deprecated items are not removed immediately. Citrix® continues to support them but they will be removed in a future release.
Removed items are removed, or no longer supported, in Citrix DaaS. Dates in bold face indicate the latest updates.

Support for `Repair-AcctADAccount` PowerShell command	December 2024		Use the following commands `Repair-AcctIdentity`: To repair identity accounts without changing the current state of them. This can repair existing in-used identity accounts for existing provisioned VMs. For example, `repair userCertificate` attributes for Microsoft Entra hybrid joined identity accounts. The `Repair identity info` (including machine password/trust key pair) for AD joined identity accounts. `Reset-AcctIdentity`: To reset identity accounts to initial states (For example, from tainted to available). This can put any tainted identity accounts back to pool as available identity accounts.
