How it works?

The feature operates as part of the HDX Thinwire display protocol.

intelligent-build

  1. Once Thinwire detects a screen region with moving images, it encodes the region using the configured video codec, H.264, H.265, or AV1, depending on the VDA and client’s capabilities. This prioritises frame rate and responsiveness.

  2. When the region of the screen becomes static, i.e., no movement is detected, Thinwire will gradually build up the area to a lossless state through a series of refinement updates for the static region.
