The following issues have been fixed since Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2507 LTSR (initial release):

Citrix Director

  • The target VDA CPU usage might increase significantly when you keep in Director Session Performance Tap page. [CVADHELP-29162]
  • When you groom the SessionMetricsV2 and EndpointMetricsV2 tables in an on-premises environment, the task fails due to insufficient ALTER permissions. [CVADHELP-29318]
  • During session logon testing on a Windows 11 VDI running Citrix 2507 LTSR, the Appx package load metrics failed to populate due to an event conversion error. [CVADHELP-29332]
  • You might face issues with the Appx package load metrics during session logon testing on a Windows 11 VDI running in Citrix 2507 LTSR, due to an event conversion error. [CVADHELP-29332]

Citrix Policy

  • The Citrix group policy might fail to apply to Windows 365 (W365) VDA machines. [CVADHELP-27655]

Citrix Studio

  • When you add a Delivery Group (DG) to the log server in version 2511.0.10.23, the DG selection resets after navigating between nodes, requiring administrators to manually re-select it. [CVADHELP-29696]
  • You might encounter a “Requested value ‘MaxCapacityVerticalLoadBalancing’ was not found” error. The filter for “MaxCapacityVerticalLoadBalancing” does not work when DDC versions are older than R125. [CVADHELP-29445]
  • When you create an Azure catalog in Citrix Studio and select “Azure ephemeral OS disk” as the storage type, the machine size list incorrectly shows “No results.” [CVADHELP-29564]
  • When you attempt to log in to WebStudio, you might see an error caused by invalid tokens when domain names contain special characters. [CVADHELP-28119]
  • Upgrade scripts for packaged applications might not automatically populate all necessary details, requiring manual input to ensure complete configurations.[APPV-834]

Delivery Controller

  • When you add a host in MMC Studio with a custom SDK port, you might encounter an error due to the non-default port configuration. [CVADHELP-29385]
  • When you create or update a catalog for AD-joined machines in Web Studio, you may see an error if the identity pool domain differs from the admin domain. [CVADHELP-29374]

Machine Creation Service

  • Citrix Host Service may fail to start automatically after a reboot in case the DDC can’t contact Active Directory(AD) at that time (e.g. both DDC and AD are rebooted), requiring manual intervention to start the service. [CVADHELP-29495]
  • When you change CPU cores using the Set-ProvScheme command or Web Studio in a Nutanix Acropolis environment, the changes do not apply to new machines. [CVADHELP-28714]
  • When upgrading DDC from 2402 CU1 to 2507, the installer may fail due to Azure Arc plugin timeout. [CVADHELP-29787]

Universal Print Server

Printing

  • Printing large files to pdf might fail. [CVADHELP-28116]

VDA for single-session OS

Session/Connection

  • When you use the EDT protocol with HDX Direct connections, ICA sessions may disconnect and reconnect due to a cipher mismatch error. Switching to TCP temporarily resolves the issue. [CVADHELP-29336]
  • When you turn a monitor off and on during a session, the playback device name may switch to “Citrix HDX Audio,” causing identification issues. [CVADHELP-28903]
  • Communication with the VDA might fail, when you use the Nexthink client. [HDX-93834]
  • You might see delay with cloud hosted VDAs while using SANE redirection. [HDX-92652]

System Exceptions

  • During the uninstallation of the Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA) in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) 2507 LTSR, uberAgent is always removed, even if the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\uberAgent\InstalledBy flag is not set to CVAD. [CVADHELP-29182]
  • When you publish App-V applications, you cannot move them afterward due to technical limitations in the underlying mechanism. [CVADHELP-29136]
  • You might experience BSOD with error on icausbb.sys on rebooting PVS Provisioned VDAs. [CVADHELP-27597]
  • When you use a dual-monitor setup and share a popped-out browser window, the audience can see the parent browser in the background. [CVADHELP-27809]
  • Client time redirection is not working in Windows 11 single sessions VDA. [CVADHELP-28742]
  • FIDO2 does now work for edgewebview2 by default. [CVADHELP-29040]
  • When VDA uses IPV6, loopback IP is seen in studio for the “Connected through” field instead of NetScaler snip. [CVADHELP-29084]
  • You might experience random BSOD crashes with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. [CVADHELP-29044]

VDA for multi-session OS

Session/Connection

  • When you use the EDT protocol with HDX Direct connections, ICA sessions may disconnect and reconnect due to a cipher mismatch error. Switching to TCP temporarily resolves the issue. [CVADHELP-29336]
  • When you disconnect and reconnect to your Citrix session on a Windows 11 multisession VDA, the time zone might reset regardless of your time zone settings. [CVADHELP-28781]
  • When reconnecting to 2016/2022 RDS Double Hop published application from Dell-Wyse Thin OS 9.x, a 20 second delay is seen with Linux Citrix client 23.7. [CVADHELP-28831]
  • Communication with the VDA might fail, when you use the Nexthink client. [HDX-93834]
  • You might see delay with cloud hosted VDAs while using SANE redirection. [HDX-92652]

System Exceptions

  • During the uninstallation of the Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA) in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) 2507 LTSR, uberAgent is always removed, even if the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\uberAgent\InstalledBy flag is not set to CVAD. [CVADHELP-29182]

  • The TdIca.sys driver may intermittently cause BSOD crashes on Windows Server 2019 [CVADHELP-27893]
  • FIDO2 does now work for edgewebview2 by default. [CVADHELP-29040]
  • You might experience random BSOD crashes with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. [CVADHELP-29044]
  • With 2507 LTSR, clipboard on multi-user desktops might stop working after a while. [CVADHELP-29644]
  • With 2507 LTSR, you might see delay in session launch when network telemetry is enabled. [CVADHELP-30352]
