For each device, after the onboarding process, the system creates a client authentication certificate so that users do not need to perform an additional logon for the SCG. For further information, see Device certificates.

Configure the validity of the device certificates and the behavior when the validity expires. Expiring certificates can be renewed automatically. Alternatively or additionally, you may manually renew certificates for selected devices in the Devices view.

Validity period for a device certificate in days.

The minimum value must be 30 days and the maximum value must be 5 years (1825 days).
Device certificates are automatically renewed before their validity expires.(Once users re-connect with their device)

This option is deselected by default.
Certificates that have already expired are also renewed automatically.
