Requires
Virtualization platform and computing resources (4 CPUs, 8 GB RAM, 24 GB hard disk) for installing virtual machines based on an [.ova] template (Open Virtual Appliance)

From our myelux.com portal, under Downloads> Scout Cloud Gateway, download the current .ova template.
Within your virtualization platform, install a virtual machine from the template scg-<version>.ova, for example by selecting [Deploy OVF Template].
Optionally, assign a host name for the new MAC address via DHCP. Otherwise, specify a name in the next step on the machine along with first network settings.
Power on your machine.

In the next step you can set initial network settings.
