VDAs might experience a fatal exception on picadd.sys and display a blue screen with the following error message:

Error: Bug Check 0x96 INVALID_WORK_QUEUE_IT

The Print Spooler service might exit unexpectedly while printing a file using Citrix Universal™ Print Server.

When you upgrade Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 2203 LTSR from CU1 to CU2, the values EnableVistaMousePointers, EnforceUserPolicyEvaluationSuccess, Flag, and CitrixDoD that were manually created under the following registry keys might disappear:

After you upgrade a VDA to 1912 LTSR CUx or 2203 LTSR CUx, the value of ApplicationLaunchWaitTimeoutMS under the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Citrix\wfshell\TWI might not be restored.

When you switch between keyboard layouts such as United Kingdom and United States, intermittent language issues might occur with the keyboard in the session.

When you use Citrix Workspace™ app on Ubuntu with VDA version 2203 LTSR CU3 or earlier, the keyboard layout synchronization might not work correctly. For example, if a user changes the local and server-side keyboard layouts from English to German, the keyboard might display an incorrect character output even though both the keyboards have German layouts.

When you restart a VDA with the Universal Print Server policies enabled, load balancing for Universal Print Servers might fail to start.

Local printers might not get redirected to the session during the first launch. However, the local printers are redirected during subsequent launches.

The Windows Audio service might not start automatically when you install Virtual Delivery Agent using the servervdi command line parameter. This error message appears in the notification area:

The Audio Service is not running.

The sessions might remain stuck in the Logging Off state on the Cloud Studio or Monitor until the system is booted. The issue occurs when the RemotePC VDAs are shut down from within the RemotePC.

When you copy content from session 1 using clipboard mapping and attempt to paste it into session 2, the content might not appear in the clipboard of session 2. The issue occurs when session 2 is launched after the content is copied from session 1.

After you upgrade a VDA to version 2203, the Skype for Business app might display a splash screen when started and become unresponsive.

Client drive mapping (CDM) might not work on freshly installed VDA version 2203 LTSR CU2 running Microsoft Windows Server when Citrix Print Manager Service is disabled.

When the Shellbridge feature is enabled on the VDA, seamless application sessions from HTML5 and Android might show unexpected UI windows that can block user input.

The values SaveRsopToFile, SaveRsopToMemory, and SaveRsopToRegistry under the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\GroupPolicy might not be restored.

Attempt to start applications with a custom ICA® file might fail after upgrading the VDA to version 2203 LTSR CU3.

If the Session Recording agent is not installed on the VDA and you run Get-BrokerSessionRecordingStatus, Start-BrokerSessionRecording, and Stop-BrokerSessionRecording PowerShell commands, then the VDA deregisters and registers again with the Delivery Controller within a few seconds. This action has no impact on the existing sessions. If the Session Recording agent is installed on the VDA, the PowerShell commands work without issue.

When you start a session using a smart card and try to unlock a locked session, you might receive a prompt to enter a password instead of a smart card PIN. This issue occurs when you have installed the Microsoft patch, KB5018410.

CtxSvcHost (CtxSmartCardSvc) might exit unexpectedly when you log off from the VDA.

Internal websites of certain third-party applications with VDA installed might not allow access without a prompt.

The Citrix PDF Universal Printer driver might exit unexpectedly because of the faulting acfpdfuamd64.dll module.

The wfica32.exe process might exit unexpectedly.

VDAs might experience a fatal exception on Wdica.sys and display a blue screen.

The Citrix software graphics process (Ctxgfx.exe) might constantly consume all the available memory within a session causing it to eventually disconnect.

The graphics status indicator process, GfxStatusIndicator.exe might exit repeatedly.

After you upgrade a VDA from version 2203 LTSR CU2 to CU3, VDAs might experience a fatal exception on picadm.sys and display a blue screen.

The wfshell.exe process might become unresponsive while copying and pasting large data in Microsoft Excel.

After upgrading a VDA to version 2305 or version 2203 LTSR CU3, shortcut key combinations might not work correctly. For example, in a Word document, pressing the Ctrl+Shift+K key on a selected word capitalized it. But, if you release the K key and press it again, the change is not reverted.

Session Recording might continue to record even after you log off from the session or if the session is disconnected.

When you switch between endpoints without disconnecting the session, multiple reboot notifications might appear if scheduled reboot notifications are enabled.

When you open 2 instances of an application and set the DisableToggler setting to five seconds, you might have to wait for about 30 seconds before typing in the second application.

If shellbridge is enabled, you might not be able to log off from a session by clicking the X icon on the window.

With this fix, the toast notifications might appear correctly in seamless sessions. You must enable shellbridge for the fix to work. However, the fix is implemented with the following visual limitations:

On Windows Server version 2019 and earlier, VDAs might fail to send mouse events to the endpoint causing graphics or mouse issues in the applications.
