Aggregated Search across multiple DaaS instances (Preview)
Citrix DaaS allows customers to aggregate multiple instances of their Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service using a hub and spoke model. With this configuration, you can use the universal search feature to search for users, machines, endpoints and transactions across all the aggregated DaaS tenants.
Pre-requisites
All the DaaS tenants must be aggregated using a hub and spoke topology. For more information regarding the configuration required to aggregate the spoke service instances to a hub, see Aggregate multiple Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops service instances.
Note:
Monitor supports aggregation of up to four DaaS orgIDs (spokes) under a single orgID (hub), allowing a total of 5 DaaS instances to be monitored together.
How it works
Once the hub and spoke configuration of DaaS tenants is completed, administrators can log into the Monitor console of their configured hub instance to search for users, machines, endpoints, and transactions. The search aggregates results from the hub and all its spokes, rendering results for further troubleshooting.
In case bidirectional enumeration of the hub and spoke instances is configured, administrators can log into the hub or any of the spokes to perform the search.
