Delivery Controller™

  • Monitor Service grooming may fail due to an invalid variable name in the task definition. This issue affects the GroomResourceUtilization task and may impact other grooming tasks as well. [CVADHELP-27284]
  • You may experience high CPU usage on a large MonitorDB holding data for several months. Adding an index can reduce CPU usage by approximately 10-15% [CVADHELP-26395]
  • You might be unable to create new machine catalog or power on existing VDAs after upgrading 1912 CU8 to 2203 CU4 while using a non standard decimal symbol like ‘,’ [CVADHELP-27411]
  • Upgrading a Delivery Controller from 2203 CU5 to 2402 CU1 may fail during the automatic site upgrade in Citrix Studio. The Delivery Controller upgrade completes, but the site update does not finish successfully. [CVADHELP-26326]

Graphics

  • After upgrading to VDA 2402, the first ICA® session after a reboot may show a grey screen, which resolves by disconnecting and reconnecting or launching an application session first. [CVADHELP-25955]
  • After upgrading to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) 2203 CU5 or 2402, access to the WMI instance Citrix_Client_Enum may fail with a “Provider Load Failure” error. [CVADHELP-26516]

Metainstaller

  • After you upgrade to VDA 2203, the first ICA session after a reboot does not launch. You can resolve this by launching the session a second time.[CVADHELP-27736]
  • The VDA upgrade from 2203 CU3 to CU5 resets all registry settings under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\picadm, including the removal of the DisableFullStreamWrite entry. If you expect these settings to persist, you might need to reapply them after the upgrade. [CVADHELP-26895]

Universal Print Server

Printing

  • After upgrading from Universal Print Server (UPS) to 2203 LTSR CU5, you might experience long delays when selecting a printer. The printer might stay in the “Connecting to printer” state and take over a minute to become available. [CVADHELP-27306]

VDA for single-session OS

Session/Connection

  • After you launch the session, plugging and unplugging the audio device several times causes the session to stop recognizing the audio device.[CVADHELP-27013]
  • You might experience a blue screen error with a stop code during shutdown.[CVADHELP-26420]

System Exceptions

  • When you use Windows 11 24H2, the session hangs and displays a black screen during launch.[CVADHELP-28459]
  • After upgrading to VDA 2203 CU5 or CU6, you might be unable to log in to servers, sessions stop responding during logon or logoff. [CVADHELP-28854]
  • You might encounter a blue screen error with the code PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (0x50) intermittently due to an issue in the picadm.sys module. [CVADHELP-27854]

VDA for multi-session OS

Clipboard

  • When you use Citrix Workspace™ for HTML5, the session crashes after you copy and paste large amounts of data in Excel.[CVADHELP-27755]
  • In a multi-session scenario, copy and paste functionality might stop working if you copy more than approximately 2,493 characters. [CVADHELP-27474]
  • CtxSvcHost.exe might crash during clipboard operations due to an issue in the Clipboard DLL. [CVADHELP-27459]

Session/Connection

  • Host to client URL redirection modifies case-sensitive URL parameters by converting uppercase letters to lowercase, which can cause failures when accessing applications that require specific letter capitalization. [CVADHELP-26862]
  • You may experience random USB redirection failures for client users, causing USB devices like Pinpad, TCR, and Printers to disappear during the session. [CVADHELP-26811]
  • You might experience a blue screen error with a stop code during shutdown.[CVADHELP-26420]
  • When you launch sessions from Citrix Workspace App for Linux, the sessions appear to open but close immediately without showing any error.[CVADHELP-26169]
